Learnathon is now ‘Full House.’

Our online system will accept new registrations if there are seats left.

1. Certificate If Appreciation.

We have prepared a certificate of appreciation for every one of our volunteers. Thank you for your awesome effort.

If you know of anybody who has contributed to the success of Learnathon 2013, please let us know. We will issue the Certificate before the start of the event.

2. Good News.

To show our appreciation for the hard work and contributions of our volunteers, we have decided to award every volunteer two complimentary tickets. Thank you.

3. We Are Sorry.

We took about ten days to organize Learnathon 2013. Along the way, we might have upset you in some ways.

If we did, please accept our sincere apology. Sorry!

4. Report For Duties.

We will gather on Monday, 2 December 2013, at 6pm for final announcements and assignments.

The assembly point will be at the front of the Shine Auditorium, 100 Beach Road, #03-01, Shaw Tower, Singapore 189702.

5. Performance.

Hark Music School, one of the top schools is sponsoring musical performances during the interlude.

Learnathon 2013 is pure edutainment. It will be a fun-filled event.

6. Press Coverage.

Roger Koh and Cayden Chang were interviewed on 95.8 during prime time at 7.30 pm on Friday, 29 November 2013. It was a great interview and promotion of Learnaton 2013.

Immediately after the interview, we had many bookings.

We also expect a good turnout from the Press on ‘D’ Day. Good job guys!

7.  Legal Advisor

One of the most prominent legal eagle running a top firm has agreed to be our legal advisor. What a great honour and privilege.

Tan Chong Huat is the Managing Partner and one of the founding members of RHTLaw Taylor Wessing. He is currently the Head of the Firm’s Banking and Finance Practice. He also serves as a member of the International Management Board of Taylor Wessing. Chong Huat has extensive experience in corporate, banking and project finance law in Singapore and the region, and acted in numerous significant corporate transactions. He has been named a leading practitioner in many reputable professional publications, with a recent recognition by IFLR1000 as a “Leading Lawyer” and by Legal 500 Asia Pacific as a “Leading Individual” for Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions.
Chong Huat is also active in public service and charity work.  He is currently a board member of World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Singapore, a council member of the Football Association of Singapore and the Singapore Road Safety Council. He also sits as a Lay Person on the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants’ Investigation and Disciplinary Panel. He was until recently a council member of the Corporate Governance Council set up by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

8. Final Briefing.

We had our final meeting with some of our volunteers on Friday, 29 November 2013.

It’s all system go now. It will be a great show!

It has been an amazing journey. Let’s give ourselves a pat for a good job.
