Reflecting On Success

In 1990, my partners, Richard Tan, Veronica Tan, and I started a business that evolved to become Success Resources (SR).

SR is arguably the largest seminar organizer in Asia. Our hope is that it will become the global number company in this life-changing industry.

We started this dream project with the desire to bring world class talents and expertise to bless Asians. We want to make the learning experience available, highly accessible, and affordable.

It is a dream project because we can help individuals and organisations achieve success through best of breed education.

Over the years, I have been constantly reflecting on success.

What many people define as success is not what I believe to be true success.

They are basically platforms to reach the ultimate destination.

For example, many people aim to be rich and wealthy. However, having more money cannot be an end all and be all to life. Money must be used to fulfil a worthwhile cause.

True success is fulfilling the unique calling that our Creator has for you and me.

He wants us to help others live a better life and make our world a better home. We must endeavour to make a positive difference in the light of eternity.

To help us achieve true success, our Creator has given us special gifts and talents. We need to make full use of our strengths to achieve our calling and make full use of our lives.

By using our strengths, we can also live a more meaningful, exciting and fulfilling life.

Throughout our lives, I believe our Creator has been leading and directing us to respond to his blueprint for our lives.

If we quieten our hearts, we can hear His ‘still small voice’ prompting us to rise up to our potential and respond to His highest calling.

Even when we fall, He will be there to help us. He wants us to learn from the negative experiences so as to improve our lives and achieve better results.

True success is letting our Creator direct and navigate our lives. It is a win-win proposition that can help us to live a FUNtastic life.
