Happiness.

by Patrick Liew on March 22, 2014

(This epiphany hit me during the overnight flight. I captured it on my iPhone this morning. I hope you’ll be as inspired by it as me.)

Happiness is not an emotional or mental state of being. It is the effect of pursuing meaning, purpose and significance in whatever you do.

Happiness is the by-product of living a virtuous and useful life, a life that blooms and flourishes in the space that you are living in.

It is not how you acquire happiness but how you share it with others. For when you pursue happiness, it will elude you but when you seek to spread it, you’ll find it.

When you look forward to doing something good and drive yourself to love and help others in an effective way, you’ll find happiness waiting for you along the way.

Go4It!

By the way, I have also recorded other reflections.
