My friends and I are rolling up our sleeves. We’re going to do our part for victims of the typhoon.
In the span of three days, we have achieved the following:
1. A working and proven model to raise funds,
2. A tie-up with Mercy Relief, an IPC-registered charity providing crisis relief efforts on the ground,
3. A task force of leaders with diverse talents to set things in motion.
We are also happy that a growing number of people is volunteering to be in the organizing committee,
4. A prayer movement (religion-neutral prayer) to ask our Creator to restore Philippines,
5. Confirmed booking of Auditorium and necessary equipment,
6. Facebook for the organizing committee and the public,
7. Sufficient funds raised to support the project,
8. Six world-class speakers have confirmed to train you on their best strategies to achieve true financial freedom,
9. My esteemed professor in social entrepreneurship, Professor Adlai Wertman has agreed to be our advisor.
10. Mr Zainudin Nordin, Member of Parliament for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC has agreed to be our Guest of Honour.
We have an almost perfect winning formula. We need just a few more good men and women.
May I have the honour to invite you to join us for a worthwhile cause. Read on.
