Life Lessons From Horses – Part 2: Charging Forward With Passion, Energy and Spirit.

When I think of horses, I think of passion, energy and spirit.

I see a magnificent being standing tall and proud with heads lifted high.

I am drawn to the beauty of its presence, its powerful body, and the speed and grace of its gallop.

That’s probably why the Chinese wish for each other to have the passion, energy and spirit of a dragon-like horse (龍马精神).

Like horses, we can be a pillar of comfort, strength and encouragement to others.

To do that, we need to love ourselves and pursue excellence in accordance with our talent, strength and resources.

As we develop our area of knowledge and expertise and shine at our place in life, we can stand tall and be proud of our achievement.

When we press forward to share our life and make a positive difference, we create waves of passion, energy and spirit around us.

We inspire people around us to be and do the best.

This is one of the hallmarks of leadership, a quality that will command respect, affection and loyalty. This what the world needs to gallop to a brighter future.
