How I Found My Calling In Life…

by Patrick Liew on May 18, 2017

In 2003, I went through the darkest hour of my life.
At that point, I felt like I have gone through hell and came back a totally different person.

My life almost came to a bitter end.

During that period, a Mr Os Hillman flew in from the USA to see me.

He had no clue as to why he needed to see me and what he wanted to talk me about.

Interestingly, he could not even remember who asked him to see me.

Long story short, I shared with him my tragic encounter with life.

At that point, I couldn’t help sharing my story with anguish, pain and sorrow.

At the end of the emotionally-charged session, he L-A-U-G-H-E-D at me.

He laughed into my face and literally right through to the core of my being.

You could imagine how his response could have shredded my heart. He could have tore my soul into many pieces.

Mr Hillman prophesied that I would get out of the pits of hell.

I would get my life back and achieve much more than I could ever dream or imagine.

After the baptism of fire, I would have to share my life story with others and inspire them to live a full life.

They would be encouraged to help others live life to the fullest too.

Mr Hillman called it a Joseph Calling.

His prophesy came to pass. Within three years, I got out of the deep valley of painful experience.

For the past 14 years, I have been humbled by the experience and my failure.

I have been honored to carry out the Joseph Calling – to inspire others to greatness.

I have gone to many parts of the world and share different life-giving messages.

From leaders to ordinary persons on the street, I endeavored to ignite the power of love and compassion within them.

I aimed to put soul back into individuals, organisations and communities.

Throughout the journey, many lives have been transformed.

They have joined me to live well and achieve more in life so as to do more good for others and the environment.

I ended the interview by sharing my aspirational value:

The more we reach out to bless other lives, the richer and better our lives will become.

I hope this message will find a place in your heart.

By the way, I have also recorded other reflections.
