It’s Time To Manage Your Stress Level – Story #6.

Many years ago, I lost almost everything in my life.

It was at that point in my life, I discovered our Creator was still there for me.

Through Him and together with my family and friends, I took the long and arduous journey to dig myself out of the pits and reconstruct my life.

Through the experience, I learned some useful lessons about stress management.

1. Our Creator.

Our Creator loves and cares for you.

If I are willing, He can help you with your life.

2. Befrienders.

There are people who are willing to help you. They can counsel you and give you useful advice.

If the advices are useful, apply them in my life.

If they are not constructive, discard them.

3. Lifestyle.

Adopt a healthy lifestyle so as to be in a better position to manage stress.

Watch your diet, and exercise regularly.

Reduce intake of sugar, caffeine, salt, and other unhealthy food.

Avoid cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, and other destructive chemicals.

Ensure that you get adequate sleep and be involved with healthy leisure and recreational activities.

And create opportunities to help myself become a better person.

4. Positivism.

Ensure that the inputs to your heart and mind are positive.

Carefully choose what you see, hear, smell, taste and feel.

And ensure that these inputs are received in a positive way.

5. Relax And Recreation.

Take time to relax and engage in healthy activities so as to de-stress and rejuvenate yourself.

Participate in healthy activities to relax and have fun.

And create more opportunities to smile and laugh.

6. Emotions.

Find healthy ways to share your thoughts, feelings and behavior.

Forgive those who have wronged you.

Whenever you sense that bitterness is starting to grow in your heart, forgive them again and again.

7. Perspective.

See the positives in every negative experience.

They are useful feedback, lessons, and opportunities to help you become a better person.

8. Response.

There are many things you cannot change. However, you can change your response to them.

9. Love.

Continue to love yourself and extend love to the people around you.

Reach out to help others.

And learn to be grateful and thankful for your life.

With a heart of gratefulness, it is harder for stresses to affect you.

Stresses will soon come to pass.

Someday when you look back, they could be some of the most positive and memorable experiences in your life.

Go4It!

I hope this message will find a place in your heart.
