It’s Time To Play At The Highest Level.

It’s Time To Play At The Highest Level.

Life can be an exciting journey from the day you’re born until the last day of your life.

Throughout this journey, you’ll have to ask yourself many vitally-important questions.

The quality of your life and achievements depend on the quantity of quality questions you ask yourself.

There are three basic questions that you have to ask yourself.

They are as follows:

1. Where do you come from?

2. Why are you here?

3. Where are you going to?

How you respond to these questions will shape and determine how you look at life.

Your perspective of life will influence how you live your life and what you’ll get out of life.

As a result, you can choose to essentially play at 5 different levels of living.

Level 1: Drifters

These are people who drift along with the winds of influence and change throughout their lives.

They do not spend time to think through the deeper meanings and purposes of life.

They live with whatever life throws at them, work day to day, and hope for the best. Que Sera Sera!

Level 2: Laborers

Laborers are people who are focused on meeting their basic needs.

They are so caught up with their work and careers and as a result, they have not been able to focus on doing more and doing better with their lives.

They fail to explore other opportunities, and neither did they experiment with different possibilities so as to empower themselves to excel right through to the foreseeable horizon.

Their lives remind me of the song by The Beatles, ”A Hard Day’s Night”.

Level 3: Creators and Makers

These are people who want to make something good out of their lives.

By cultivating healthy character, commitment, competence, capacity, compassion and choices, they persevere to go farther and faster on the journey of life.

When they join the workforce, they work hard to be promoted, earn a better income, and enjoy a better quality of life for themselves and for their loved ones.

Focus on achieving good results, fill up their time with meaningful activities, and fight to do well in their workplaces.

They have a dream and sometimes the world may cruelly crush the dream but still, a flame will continue to light up in their heart of hearts.

They may or may not realize it but there’s a song written for them and it’s call “The Power Of The Dream”.

Level 4: Movers and Shakers

These are leaders and achievers who go out of the way to live an admirable life, accomplish great achievements, and live on in many hearts and minds.

Many are called to be movers and shakers, but few are willing to rise up in response to the clarion call to shape economic and societal, and future landscapes.

For those who responded, only a rare few are willing to sacrifice and pay a high price to achieve success.

Movers and shakers have the grits, guts and gumptions to press on and keep pressing on through a steep, stony, and slippery path to reach their promiselands.

When I think of movers and shakers, I think of people like Genghis Khan, Julius Caesar, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi, Winston Churchill, Steve Jobs, and Warren Buffet.

For them, “impossible” is not a word in their lexicon.

If they love to sing about their lives, they’ll probably sing about the “The Impossible Dream”.

Level 5: Life-Givers

These are the dream-makers, life-changers, value-multipliers, and change-makers that go beyond themselves to serve our Creator and fulfill a worthwhile cause.

They go out of the way to inspire qualified and deserving people to break out of their blockages and bondages.

Empower them to rise up from the masses and generate a cascade of catalytic effects to bring about a world of good.

And make a positive and sustainable impact on the people and environment around them.

The life-givers in the drama of humanity include Jesus Christ, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Florence Nightingale, and Lee Kuan Yew.

If they know the song, “Heal The World”, they will probably encourage you to sing it with them and absorb the lyrics into your heart.

How do you plan to travel on the journey of life?

Are you committed to playing at the highest level of life?

What actions will you take to make a positive and sustainable difference?
