Living A FUNtastic Life (Part 37)

by Patrick Liew on September 22, 2011

During HSR Bootcamps 3, one of the exercises that we do is to help participants recall positive experiences in their lives and build up an emotional bank account of good memories.

We help them to visualize these experiences so clearly that some of them can feel like they are reliving the experience.

They can see, hear, smell, taste, and feel as if they are back at the situation again.

Positive experiences are kept in our minds as memories for a purpose. We can recall them and bring out the positive emotions to strengthen us.

To help us anchor these experiences and emotions, we can revisit the places in our lives that help bring back these memories.

We can organize a photo album, a scrapbook, an audio-visual recording, and many other aide- me moiré. They help to trigger our memory and enhance clarity of the experience.

Recalling these experiences help us to become more emotionally stable. We can enhance our emotional muscles to support ourselves. It improves our emotional intelligence to help the people around us.

I want to relive happy times again and again. They spice up my FUNtastic life.

Go4It!

I hope this message will find a place in your heart.

By the way, I have also recorded other reflections.

Question: How can we recall happy times in our lives?
