Chinese New Year celebration is a time for me and my family to hit the theaters.
We have been movie buffs for a long time.
For us, it’s not just about watching movies, we discuss about them. We even act parts of the scene for our own entertainment.
Our favorite part is being shot and refusing to die. We find different ways to fall to the ground but we will always rise again. Haha!
While reflecting about movies, I realised how much I love heroes, both on screen and in real life.
We need heroes in our lives.
We stop having heroes not because we grow old. We will grow old when we stop having heroes.
In fact, idolizing heroes is one of the pillars of a successful individual, organization and country.
We remember fondly the heroes who have contributed to our success.
If we stop having new heroes, the bedrock of our success may be shaken.
Heroes are reflections of our desire to turn a dream into a reality. They helped to define us and inspire new visions.
Heroes  promote a stronger desire for more heroic acts in our midst.
We model after heroes and their achievement fuel our motivation to achieve success.
We admire their stand against the tide of their times.
We are absorbed by the way they defy overwhelming odds.
Yes, they have flaws. They have failed.
They have fallen.
But they rose again to make history and leave a meaningful legacy for us.
Heroes show us that we can achieve far more than we can ever dream or imagine.
We need to bring more heroes back into our lives.
Who are your heroes?
By the way, I have also recorded other reflections.
