Developing ‘Animal Instincts’

by Patrick Liew on June 15, 2011

I had a ‘man to man’ talk with Jumper Liew. In case you don’t know, Jumper is my beagle.

Who says I cannot adopt a dog? 🙂

Jumper has inherited both my good looks (ahem!) and my friendly disposition. If a robber ransacks my house, Jumper will help to pack and carry the loot. Ha!

This was our conversation.

Me: Why are you always so curious about everything?

Jumper: In the words of Edmund Hillary – because it is there?

Me: How come you are so excited about your dog’s life?

Jumper: I have only one life. So, why not enjoy it? What’s wrong with you humans?

Me: You are adventurous, passionate, excited, and having fun all the time. What’s with you?

Jumper: Let’s just say, life is FUNtastic!

Me: Hey! You stole my line. Grrrrr!!!

Foolish dog!

I hope this message will find a place in your heart.

Life is FUNtastic!

Question: What else can we learn from animals?
