Living A FUNtastic Life (Part 44)

by Patrick Liew on October 25, 2011

Why should I live an abundant life – a life overflowing with magic and wonder?

Simply because it is the foundation to create a virtuos cycle. A cycle to maximise my potential and live life to the full.

The flip side is, if I am not excited about my life, I will not be motivated to go far in it. If I don’t improve, I will stagnate, and begin to decay, and start a cascading effect of negative experiences.

It’s somewhat similar to a self-fulfilling prophecy. If I enjoy my life and I believe that brighter times are ahead, I will do everything posibble to make it happen.

Memorable emotions and experiences – no matter how small or big – can be linked together to become a great life.

I have discovered that there are many small little joys that make for a great life.

Case in point, I can read a good joke book and have a good laugh. Or, call a good old friend to reminisce about a wonderful experience.

Paradoxically, ordinary activities are simple but not easy. Even though I can do it, oftentimes I did not make it happen.

Smile, laugh, have fun, enjoy the beauty around you, be grateful and thankful, reach out to a fellow human…

When you live a FUNtastic life, it opens up your mind to all kinds of possibilities.

It creates new horizons of promises.

Your complete being will be in a much better position to fulfill your dreams in life.

Go4It!

Question: How can we find happiness from small and simple things?
