Living Moments (Part 4)

by Patrick Liew on October 15, 2011

There is something I need to do every month and I don’t look forward to doing it.

I am on my Church’s duty roster to count and record the donations for mission work.

It is boring and tedious and there are quite a few paperwork to complete. Not my normal cup of tea.

One Sunday, I was on duty and was booking at the amount of money from all the offering bags. I asked my fellow helpers, “Are all the offering bags in?”

They nodded.

I felt a little down. I prayed that the collection would improve. Without resources, there is a limit to our contributions.

At that moment, I realized the significance of my duty. I found meaning in the work.

Go4It!

I hope this message will find a place in your heart.

By the way, I have also recorded other reflections.
