 2. Happy Teachers’ Day – Friday, 6 September 2019 – Teachers Make A Great Positive Difference

I am very much the product of my teachers’ efforts and contributions.

As I reflected on the teachers that have shaped and moulded me at different points in my life, I could not help but feel a deep sense of gratefulness.

Without them, I am nothing.

The teachers who taught us in schools gave us a foundation to make a living and to live well.

Inspired us to learn – and to learn how to learn – so that we can continue to improve and progress in life.

There were also many other teachers who came into our lives.

They may not teach as a part of their jobs or even earn an income from it, but they have played a vital and important part in our lives.

Teachers can open doors to a new world.

They showed us different possibilities to create a brighter future.

We owe a debt of gratitude to all teachers in our lives.

Every day should be a Teachers’ Day.

Let’s remember to be grateful to our teachers and to show them our deepest appreciation.
