An Open Letter To Myself

An Open Letter To Myself

Dear Patrick,

For goodness sake, learn to say “No”.

When it is justified to say “No,” you should be happy to say it and be at peace thereafter.

It is about being true to yourself – to know what you should or should not do in life.

Friends should understand that as a human, you have your own needs and aspirations.

If those needs and aspirations matter, they won’t mind. If they mind, they don’t matter.

Most of the worries and fears of saying “No” are delusions in your mind.

If you manage time effectively, there will not be any negative consequences.

On the other hand, by saying “Yes,” you are preventing yourself from capitalizing on better opportunities.

You are saying “No” to achieving more important values and contributions.

Learning to say “No” is a key discipline to develop in life so as to achieve better results.

Learn to say “No” from now on.

Good boy!
