I’m On Another Holiday

I’m on another vacation – attending a seminar to learn about globalization, policy development and implementation, system development, and many other good stuffs.

Learning is my idea of having a holiday. It is a purposeful detachment from the “real world.”

It can be relaxing, fun, exciting, adventurous, and memorable.

There is a variety of unforgettable experiences. Meeting inspirational and interesting people from different background and experience.

Exploring unfamiliar sight, sound, smell, spices, and sensation from their culture. And enjoying good food with both new and old friends.

Good learning programmes can take you through  a psychological roller-coaster ride; and peaks and pits of emotional experiences with absolutely no dangers and risks.

You can go on a shopping fiesta for new and powerful wisdom, knowledge, and ideas. At the end, you’ll come out a wiser and better person.

You can take home beautiful memories and leave “footprints” in the hearts and minds of the other learners, many of whom will become your lifelong friends.

I can’t tell you enough of the wonderful memories that I have developed throughout my learning journey. Truly, a great way to have a  holiday.
