Innovating For Success (Part 5)

by Patrick Liew on October 16, 2011

Innovation is seldom achieved alone. It depends on great leadership and teamwork.

I am very proud of the fact that HSR is known to be one of the most innovative companies in the industry. We have pioneered many changes that has become industry standards today.

I like to share with you what we call the HSR Game-changing Architecture. It enables our company to operate in a better and faster way to achieve sustainable results.

Let me share the first two building blocks for success.

Culture of Innovation

We believe that the future of our company depends on building a culture that enhances creativity and innovation. As a team, we collaborate and co-create innovations.

We also innovated the traditional concept of innovation.

Innovation is not left to any one person or some members of our organization.

It is not a one-off, but a dynamic process that covers every area of our business.

We find out how we are consciously resisting positive changes. We work on removing workblocks and developing the architecture to ensure continuous innovations.

Innovative Talents

We hire the right people for the right job at the right time and for the right cause. People who are passionate, creative, and brave enough to drive ideas until they become a reality.

They must also be willing to synergise with and leverage upon each other to achieve business excellence.

The quality of innovation depends on the innovative culture of the organization and quality of its innovative leaders.

I hope this message will find a place in your heart.

By the way, I have also recorded other reflections.
