It’s Time To Be A True Entrepreneur.
Entrepreneurship is a calling from the dark, and a voice from the deep well of your spirit.
Entrepreneurship is not just about starting, owning or running a business or a company.
It’s about capitalising on opportunities to serve a worthwhile cause with the least possible resources.
It’s about developing win-win relationships, and achieving the best possible impacts.
True entrepreneurs make things happen and change the world around them for good.
An optimist would say the glass is half full. A pessimist would say it’s half empty.
An entrepreneur would rise up and ask, “How can I drink from the glass, sell the glass, or use the glass for a higher purpose?”
There are four key factors that define true entrepreneurs.
These factors help them stand out from the crowd and stay ahead in their chosen fields.
1. Entrepreneurs are Dream-Chasers.
Everything around you starts with a dream. The world around you is created and re-created by dreamers.
The brightest future belongs to those who dare to dream great dreams and turn these dreams into a reality.
Entrepreneurs have the gumption to dream and courage to see a brighter future before the others around them.
They see the world not for what it is but for what it can become, and they move ahead to redesign the world and seize their destinies.
Entrepreneurs show to the world that the limits of their dreams is only defined by the limits of their imagination, passion and diligence.
2. Entrepreneurs are Value-Multipliers.
The world has always been attracted by and will always be attracted by compelling and worthwhile causes.
History has proven that when there’s a life-changing cause, it’ll inspire many to devote their hearts, minds, and souls to fulfilling their causes.
The more electrifying the cause, the more people will rise up and fight for it.
Hence, the saying, “Give people a worthwhile cause and they will be willing to die for it.”
The mission of true entrepreneurs in the new economy cannot be for only improving profits, market shares, and growth.
They have to focus on doing well and doing good, and making positive impacts on the people and environment around them – at the same time and all the time.
3. Entrepreneurs are Pacesetters.
Entrepreneurs are like a compass. They point to the right direction and show the way.
In doing so, they become a model for other entrepreneurs to pattern after them.
By showing the way, it helps others to navigate their way to success.
When faced with challenges, entrepreneurs prove that they can stretch their minds and develop the capacity to overcome challenges by acquiring new knowledge, skill sets, and other resources.
They aspire to become a “better me” so as to attract more and better talents and expertise to help them achieve their dreams.
In addition, they learn to galvanize the necessary resources and resourcefulness to resolve problems and press on to the next level of achievement and growth.
4. Entrepreneurs are Change-Makers.
In the world of entrepreneurship, there are many dreamers but not many are doers.
Among the doers, there are a rare few who are achievers.
True entrepreneurs will not only dream, but they will also do whatever it takes to make their dreams come true.
They develop the responsibility, capacity, capability, ability, agility, adaptability and tenacity to fight and fight hard to make their dreams come true.
For them, the path to success is not a short-term affair, but a long and arduous path of overcoming conflicts, controversies and challenges.
The good news is that through constant improvements, they’ll continue to find better pathways to run farther and faster to their desired destinations.
The qualities of being a dream-chaser, a value-multiplier, a pacesetter, and a change-maker personify the spirit of entrepreneurship.
By living out these qualities, they turn the the world around them upside down or right side up for future generations.
Will you aim to be a true entrepreneur?
