The world around you will be your greatest teacher
Open your eyes to endless lessons and learning
Seek to gain treasures of the mind

Meet the greats, the in betweens, and the unkown
Surround yourself with people to teach and learn from
Weave a network of minds

Discover and rediscover what you already know
Venture into halls of pen, paper, and chalk
Never stop

Every opportunity is a teacher to be heard
Every moment of the day, knowledge to be acquired
Every encounter a journey to undergo

Look to the stars and find your light
Each started in darkness, eventually taking flight
Tread by their footsteps, fill your own shoes

Be wary of red ink and fault-finding
There is nothing wrong with refinement
Diamonds are hidden in the rough

Take a minute, take a breath
Look at the path you’ve created
And marvel at the journey with me
