Learnathon 2013 – Part 5

It’s supposed to be a weekend. Many people are relaxing at home or having a fun time outside.

There is a group of people who is working hard. But they are also having fun – meaningful fun.

They have just volunteered to organize a purposeful, exciting, and meaningful project.

Their hearts have been moved by the tragedy that has inflicted our brothers and sisters in Philippines.

They are organizing a seminar for 6 of the very best speakers in this part of the world.

These speakers have agreed to share their best strategies and ideas with you on how to achieve true financial freedom.

The proceeds of a minimum of S$100 per head will be donated to Mercy Relief, an IPC-registered charity.

Since we started, many exciting things has happened.

2. We have enlisted the help of an experienced team and improved the teamwork.

4. A prominent entrepreneur and successful investor has underwritten a major expense item, a 5-figure worth of donation. More info shortly.

5. We have launched a blog that will have much more information shortly.

6. The task force is considering to increase the target from 400 to 1000 participants and the amount to be raised from $100,000 to $150,000.

7. I spoke to about 200 participants today and promoted Learnathon 2013. Ken Chee will do the same in his seminartomorrow.

They are going away on a holiday but they wanted to make sure they don’t miss out on our wonderful project.

Andy said, “Take your pick. Auction it and donate the proceeds to the cause.”

I felt so shy to do it that I immediately picked the biggest, the most stunning, and the most beautiful piece. All for a good cause. Lol!
