Life Lessons From Horses – Part 1: Thriving In The Moment.

I love horses and all the wonderful virtues that they stand for.

These virtues can be valuable lessons to teach us how to be successful in life.

Let me share some of these lessons with you.

1. Thriving in the moment.

Horses are sensitive to their circumstances and environment.

They are mindful of every sight, sound, taste, smell, and sense.

Their keen sense of awareness warns them of imminent dangers.

And leads them to find places for food, water, and other means of sustenance.

A horse will finish grazing a patch of grass before moving to another patch.

It also stays focused until a task is completed.

Like horses, focus on the “here and now.”

The “here and now” is all that you have for that instance and then it will be gone forever.

Therefore, be acutely aware of space, time, energy and matter, and how they converge to the present moment.

Be fully present – body, soul and spirit – at every moment.

Focus equals to life.

In other words, what you focus upon shapes what you make out of your life.

Focusing is galvanizing your intention, passion, thought and behavior into a deep and intense force.

Tberegire, ommit yourself to focus on worthy targets and for a worthy cause.

Focus on the magic and the best of the “here and now.”

Be mindful of and appreciate the beauty of life.

Seek to be enthralled by nature’s captivating masterpieces.

Catch the wonder around you with all your senses.

Wonders that no humans can reproduce and these wonders are mostly within your reach.

Soak and indulge in the tapestry of colour, shape and hue.

Listen to the sounds in the air.

Dance to the music of nature’s symphony.

Saviour delicacy and exquisiteness in every bite of your food.

Enjoy the wonders of aroma around you.

Immerse yourself in the myriad of emotional showers.

Feel your heartbeat.

Embrace yourself fully at every moment.

Listen to the melody of your soul.

Raise the melody to a rousing crescendo, and rhyme it in sync with the symphony of life.

Be in touch with our Creator and praise Him for all the goodness within and around you.

Be present for every person you meet.

Inspire him or her to greatness.

Live, love, learn and laugh at every given moment and do it to the deepest possible level.

Express words and carry out deeds that can only give life.

Leave a trail of beauty and wonder.

To do so, change your focus or delete the non-essentials from your focus.

Create a radar screen to direct your mind and put things in perspective.

Keep your mind open and be acutely aware of what goes on within yourself and without.

Respond to relevant signals that will create positive outcomes.

Learning to focus on the most important “here and now” can change your life and shape your future.

Carpe Diem!

Go4It!
