Living Moments (Part 7)

by Patrick Liew on April 5, 2012

Today, I went to an office and was welcomed by a caucasian Executive Assistant. As her Manager was engaged, she showed us to the Boardroom and had a friendly conversation with us.

Somehow, the discussion turned to her long eye lashes. She complained in a nice way, “My eye lashes are troublesome. Every now and then, some of them will drop on to the eyes and they are irritating”.

I shared with her that many a lady will be more than happy to have her eye lashes. In fact, many ladies spend a lot of time and effort to put on false eye lashes – every day.

This part of the conversation stucked in my mind. I’m reminded that I should be grateful about my life.

I should always be thankful about what I have. If for nothing else, there are many people in the world who are worst off than me.

If I become more appreciative about who I am and what I have been given, I will be a happier person. Indeed, I am more blessed than I can ever dream or imagine.

You should feel the same way too.

Go4It!

I hope this message will find a place in your heart.

By the way, I have also recorded other reflections.
