Real Life Inspiration: An Amazing Mother And A True Champion.

Wong Liang Ming is probably one of the most prominent Taekwondo exponents in Singapore.

More than being a great athlete, she is also a great mother.

In 1990, her world could have crashed when she discovered that Jeremy Lim, her newly-born baby was suffering from osteogenesis imperfect, a medical condition that caused his bones to be brittle and to break easily.

True to her champion spirit, she did not give in to any forms of doom and gloom.

She believed in Jeremy, despite great difficulties in bringing him up.

However, she did not see raising him up as a burden.

In fact, it became a learning experience and a joy to see Jeremy overcome many challenges to become a talented young man.

Her advice, “I realized that what matters is how we respond to what happens to us. No matter how tough it may seem, it can be accomplished if we keep at it.

“Giving up is not an option.”
