Real Life Inspiration: Live Your Dream.

I have many inspirational and talented friends on my Facebook.

Bryan Ong is one of them.

Recently, I found out about his life story and it really touches my heart.

Bryan grew up in a single-parent home.

He stayed with his mother and a younger sister while assuming the main breadwinner role.

His mother suffered from depression and could only take up odd jobs.

The family was financially challenged since he was a kid.

You can imagine how hard he had to struggle to go through his formal education.

Still, nothing could stop him from fulfilling his dream.

Despite coming from a humble background, Bryan managed to overcome many obstacles, juggled his obligations, and did well in his studies.

In fact, he became a SPRING Scholar and made it to the Dean’s List in the National University of Singapore’s Business School.

He has been an active volunteer at the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) for the past 8 years.

He was a beneficiary of CDAC’s services when he was studying at his Primary and Secondary Schools.

He lived out the famous Chinese proverb (饮水思源) that one must always be grateful to the “source of the water” and contribute back to society.

He was appointed as the Ambassador of CDAC and Youth Ambassador of Community Development Council (CDC).

At the age of 21, he published a youth motivational book entitled ‘It’s I’MPOSSIBLE.’

He is not only a best-selling author, he is also a motivational speaker and has impacted more than 10,000 students.

Bryan encourages youths to give back to society regardless of their background.

He challenged them to live their dreams.
