Part 2 – Happy Teachers Day – 5 September 2014 (Friday)

I am very much the product of the lessons from all my teachers.

As I reflected on the teachers that have shaped and moulded me at different points in my life, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of gratefulness.

Without them, I am nothing.

The teachers who taught us in schools gave us a foundation to make a living and to live well.

They inspired us to learn and to learn how to learn so that we can continue to improve and progress in life.

There were also many other teachers who came into our life.

They may not teach as a profession or even earn an income from it, but they have played a vital and important part in our life.

Teachers opened doors to new worlds.

They showed us different possibilities to a brighter future.

We owe a debt of gratitude to all the teachers in our life.

Let’s remember and appreciate our teachers.
